The Uniqueness of a Butterfly

Have you ever seen the wings of a butterfly up close? Each wing is different from the next, even in the same species. God took care to paint each of those butterfly wings. Just as He counts the hairs on our head, He knows the wings of a butterfly. Each is unique and beautiful in its own way.

But wings are not only for the beauty of a butterfly. Wings give them the freedom to fly. The colors woven into the patterns warn predators away. And some take on the coloring of a bird of prey to survive. Butterflies are not only beautiful, but they are also an essential part of our ecosystem, a symbol of gentle power, and a testament to God’s intentional design. How wonderful is our Creator!
