Sit With Us
We are creatures of habit. We come to church, greet our friends, and sit in our seats. The same seats we may have had for months, even years. And if we walk in and there is someone in our seats, let’s just say we get a little uncomfortable.
But the good news is… someone is in our seat. Someone who may not know God chose to sit down and listen. They opened up their heart to God’s word and they are here. We have every ability to go and encourage them, sit with them, and even invite them to join us in other events— an opportunity to connect. That is why we are here. Not to fill a seat, but to offer one. We are God’s children, and to make a sacrifice, even as simple as a seat, gives others a chance at knowing Him.
Give someone your seat this Holiday season. Remember that they are here— they can sit with us. Because when they are here, God could be changing their life.
