A Ray of Light
Have you ever seen the clouds casting shadows in the sky? But the moment the sun shines through it creates a ray of light that illuminates the darkness. These rays of light cannot be hidden or dimmed. They are strong enough to fight through.
These rays of light act like God’s love. His love is strong enough to take over the dark and give hope. Even in seasons of depression, waiting, fear, and doubt, we can be a beam of light for God. He can use us to reach those who need hope.
Widowed Women Connect is celebrating 2 years in August and has become a welcoming place to over 100 women! This group was born out of being a light to those in the darkness. The focus of this group is for women to make new friends, go to fun places, and learn something new. They learned to cook nutritiously for one, gained a knowledge of technology, and found a fun way to exercise. These moments of community are so important and create hope in a future.
And remember to be a ray of light in someone’s darkness this week.
